英國負責收集數(shù)據(jù)、調(diào)研分析并公布高等教育信息的官方機構——英國高等教育統(tǒng)計局（Higher Education Statistics Agency，簡稱HESA）近日發(fā)布了該機構通過大量數(shù)據(jù)整合統(tǒng)計得出的HESA Subject Listing 2017，也就是2017年英國大學可申請學科名單。

表格左側(cè)的HESA Subject列中的課程名稱可以看作是英國各個大學所設立的學科的官方標簽。括號內(nèi)的代碼是HESA課程代碼，有時候也稱為UCAS代碼。通過UCAS申請英國大學時需填寫UCAS代碼。（UCAS 是 Universities and Colleges Admissions Service 的縮寫，即“大學和學院招生服務中心”，是一個公共服務機構，統(tǒng)一為英國所有大學提供招生服務，和其他國家不同，申請英國大學的本科學位課程，都要通過UCAS進行申請。）表格右側(cè)則是各個院校設立的學科具體使用的名稱。
英國高等教育統(tǒng)計局還透露根據(jù)統(tǒng)計，有以下25個最受歡迎的學科，這25個學科每個學科都至少有1000名來自海外的留學生選擇就讀。它們是：
